Celebrating National Black Women’s Labor Day

The Basil and Becky Educational Foundation is launching our first fundraising campaign, and we’ve set our goal at $600,000 to honor the pioneering experiences of 600,000 World War II African American “Rosie the Riveters.”

Donate $6 or more to help us reach our $600,000 goal. By supporting our campaign you will help us:

  • Create an educational scholarship for Black women in the Building Trades
  • Educate communities about Black women’s history through our documentary Invisible Warriors: African American Women in World War II by making it available to underserved community organizations without charge
  • Educate communities about Black history by engaging thought leaders and community organizations
